We feel incredibly lucky to work with some of the most inspiring, extravagant, unique and tasty events in the nation, and are excited to share them with you! With events that benefit causes we adore, or empower beliefs that we all share, we are always looking forward to something that will wake our souls here at SMPR. Dog Days of Summer
Mockingbird Station hosted a Dog Days of Summer themed event on June 9th. The day began with puppy yoga, provided by Operation Kindness and led by the amazing yogis at CorePower Yoga at Mockingbird Station. Attendees were then invited to stay and play with amazing vendors (Accents, Artsy Barksy, Bon a’PAW’tit, Cately Designs, the Dapper Dog Co., Doggy Bag Treat Co., Lye & Ash,, Paw Print Co. Shop, Two Sweet Bees, Shop Avara, and more), dog adoptions, a braid bar (Pouf), face painting, shopping and specials throughout The Station all afternoon! Fuzzy’s Taco Shop
Live your best “Baja Life” all-summer-long at Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, the home of fish tacos, patio parties, cold libations, and good vibes. Kicking off on June 18th, all of Fuzzy’s 144 locations will have you feeling like you’ve just stepped off the street and into the sand with new summer-inspired menu items, and epic patio hangouts. The Baja Life promotion runs through September 2nd.
Grab your food “sol mate” and head to a Fuzzy’s near you to taste the freshest flavors of summer while soaking up some rays. Fuzzy’s Baja Life menu additions include a Mango Mahi Taco ($3.99), seasoned and grilled Mahi Mahi, topped with Mango Salsa (mango, tomato, red onion, cilantro), drizzled with a zesty citrus habanero sauce; and a Baja Shrimp Bowl ($6.99), grilled shrimp with roasted corn, black beans, cilantro-lime rice, tomatoes, red onion, and avocado slices on a bed of lettuce, served with cilantro-lime ranch dressing. Additionally, Fuzzy’s featured drinks include the Trop Everything Rita, a frozen margarita with shot of tropical syrup; and the Sunshine Mule, vodka, Ginger Beer, topped with lemonade concentrate. Did you just teleport to Baja? Yes. Yes, you did.
Nibble & Mingle
Join Chef John Tesar of Knife, The Greene Family Foundation and NFL Hall of Famer Joe Greene at the Highland Hotel on June 29th for the 2nd Annual Nibble & Mingle Fundraiser benefitting the UNT Foundation’s Agnes Lucille Craft Greene Memorial Scholarship.
The event will feature culinary creations from James Beard Award nominee, Chef John Tesar of Knife, and local chefs from restaurants including Trompo, Nick and Sam’s, Common Table, Ten Ramen, Dot’s, Cattleack Barbeque, Dee Lincoln Prime, and more.
Special guests attending include host Joe Greene and fellow NFL Hall of Famers Earl Campbell, Randy White, Mel Blount, Terry Bradshaw, Tony Dorsett, Ken Houston, Charles Haley, Rayfield Wright, former Dallas Cowboy’s player Cliff Harris and former UNT and Baltimore Ravens player Zach Orr.

House of DIFFA
One of our favorite events of the year, House of DIFFA, took place on Saturday, May 12 and the night did not disappoint, delivering fashion, fun, and all the feels. opulent gala was hosted at the Omni Dallas Hotel, and featured a curated selection of one-of-a-kind tailored jackets by world-renown designers such as Zac Posen, Belvest, Frame, Robert Graham, Naeem Khan, Veronica Beard, Adam Lippes, Giuliana Teso, Dolce & Gabanna, Theory, Badgley Mischka, Dan & Joseph, Eileen Fisher, Ted Baker, Rulli Torres, Rodd & Gunn, Traffic LA at The Joule and many more. The jackets were displayed during an extravagant fashion show, followed by an after party that kept the party going throughout the evening. Check out some of our favorite photos here.
