Piada Italian Street Food, a fast-casual Italian concept out of Ohio, first opened their doors in North Texas in 2016. The brand quickly expanded in the market, opening 4 locations total within a year and building an active fan following for Italian food-loving Texans. In the fall of 2017, Piada tasked SMPR to come up with an idea to help launch their newest seasonal menu, all while gaining buzz through local influencers and rewarding their Piada “super fans” with an exclusive sneak peek. SMPR worked with the client to create the Dallas experience for the Piada Taste Tour. SMPR leveraged their strong relationships within the North Texas market to attract local dessert and beverage partners to round out the Taste Tour experience and create the desired buzz Piada was looking for.
